Heard: Julia Montes, 17, not ready for love
Young actress Julia Montes explained what really was going on between her and “Walang Hanggan” co-star Coco Martin, and also between her and real-life suitor Enchong Dee. “On the set, every single day, I fall in love with Coco’s character Daniel. Off-cam, Coco and I are only friends. I feel comfortable around him because I’ve worked with him before. These days I see Enchong only on the set of our latest movie. I intend to follow my grandmother’s advice not to have a boyfriend before I’m 20. I’m the type who gives her all. I don’t want to get distracted. I know my responsibility to my family. I’m only 17. The real test for Enchong is, can he wait?”—Marinel R. Cruz
