Heard: Diana Zubiri, critics’ choice

Former sexy star Diana Zubiri was “stunned” to win Best Performer at the Young Critics Circle for her work in Eduardo Roy Jr.’s “Bahay Bata.” She played a perennially harassed nurse in the Cinemalaya film. “I didn’t think critics would notice me. I hope I’d finally get to watch it.” Diana recently went back to school, taking up theater arts.—Bayani San Diego Jr.
