Mayor’s new text mate–sounds like ‘Kris’

Makati Mayor Junjun Binay is said to have found a new text mate. A mole says Binay has eyes only for a pretty singer-actress (who has just cooled off with her beau and is very much available).
Coincidentally, the object of the mayor’s affection has practiced playing stepmom onstage. Binay is a widower with four young children.
Kris Aquino was once linked to Binay in gossip columns. Coincidentally again, the new girl shares the TV host’s name—with a slight change in spelling. Plus, she comes from a show biz-political clan as well.
MVP-GMA merger?
Rumors of TV5 boss Manny V. Pangilinan’s attempt to buy GMA 7 continues to steam up biz news. Asked whether MVP was indeed eyeing his network, Kapuso head Felipe L. Gozon quipped: “Only MVP can properly answer this question.”
Asked point-blank if MVP had made an offer and if he had accepted, FLG replied, simply: “No.”

Love-turned-hate team
As they say, familiarity breeds contempt. Lovey-dovey screen sweethearts, Pretty Starlet and Hunky Actor, now hate each other’s guts.
Company execs are in a quandary. They are building up PS and HA as a love team, when they are more of a hate tandem.
A mole says HA can’t stand the overbearing ways of PS who is notorious for being a prima donna. HA often has to suffer in silence while PS throws her weight around.
It can also be because HA thinks he’s prettier than PS, a veritable rival for gorgeous boys who hang out in the studio.
Peace offering
This popular love team almost broke up. Beautiful Starlet went ballistic because Handsome Hunk was late for their date.
“BS threw HH out of the studio,” said an insider. Incensed, HH almost called it quits.
ANGELICOPTER has fallen out of grace.
Sensing trouble, BS suddenly had a change of heart and sent HH a very expensive gift—a toy for a big boy that set her back by hundreds of thousands. Yup, she’s a big one.
Strike two
Sweet Star cried buckets when Dashing Beau left her—not for Another Girl as reported, but for Wealthy Gay.
SS has found love anew in Cute Hunk. Problem is, CH has long been rumored as a closet case. SS is ignoring the tell-tale signs because she’s much too in love to see.

Former GMA 7 exec Wilma Galvente on reconciling with Annabelle Rama: “Trabaho lang naman every time, all the time. Ever since, walang personalan. Sa personal level, we’re good people.” (Good people can be less than friendly at work. Got that.)

Annabelle Rama, asked what she missed most about Wilma Galvante: “Na-miss ko sa kanya ’yung tsismisan namin sa office niya. Grace Lee on accusations that she’s the reason Angelicopter was booted from Magic 89.9: “Ang pinaka-ayoko dito ’yung sinabi niya na ginawa ko ’yun dahil I feel powerful… This happened before I met the President … and let me be clear, inaway niya ako… To bring in the issue about me dating the President … that is so childish naman. Siguro dun sa offer, i-review natin, pag-aralan natin … Tingnan natin what is the best route for me and my future.” (Where there’s smoke…)
