New man in Ms D’s life

By:

DINA Bonnevie

DINA Bonnevie says she has never been happier. She has a new man in her life—Ilocos Sur Vice Governor DV Savellano.

“I feel so loved,” she beams. “And I also love him in return. He really makes time for me. Minsan nagugulat ako kahit ang layo ng location ng taping ko, he goes out of his way to visit me.”

Would she be willing to get hitched the third time around? “Why not?” Ms D retorts.

How does she feel about her ex, Vic Sotto, being linked to younger women? “Like everyone else, he has a right to be happy,” she says. “Let’s not deprive him of the joy of being in love.”

What can she say about Oyo Boy’s tweet alluding to “material girls” around Daddy Vic? “That’s just his way of showing concern,” Ms D explains. “He knows how generous Vic is. Nakikita niya siguro na naibibigay ni Vic ang mga luho ng girls—which I didn’t get to enjoy before. Natural reaction ’yun of a son who loves his dad. Siguro  mas okay kay Oyo kung hindi taga- ‘Eat Bulaga’ ang ma-link sa dad niya. Oyo wants to have a heart-to-heart talk with Vic para masabi niya lahat ang gusto niyang sabihin. Vic is closer to our eldest, Danica, because when I gave birth to her, our marriage wasn’t shaky yet.”

I’ve known Dina since her “Katorse” days when Bossing was still courting her. She has survived love’s many battles. It’s about time her tattered heart reaped its rewards.

Love truly owes Ms D a happier tomorrow.

Making peace

Zoren Legaspi was gentleman enough to approach me in the dressing room before we went on the air in “Paparazzi” last Saturday. It was the first time we saw each other after the brouhaha involving his wife, Carmina.

I was touched by his gesture. Ruffa Gutierrez even cajoled Zoren to make peace with me during the opening segment of our show. I told him that it was all part of our job. If there’s anything good that happened at the height of the controversy, it’s my knowing for sure who my true friends in and out of the biz are. That’s far more priceless than the PR budget those bigwigs spent for damage control. Enough said.

Angel in paradise

Happiness is written all over the face of Angel Aquino. She has found a new love. It made me feel so giddy myself, seeing how sweet they are together.

Angel and I go back a long way. We may not see each other often due to our frenzied schedules, but we look out for each other.

Angel’s been through hell and back in the name of love. Now she finally has her piece of paradise in the arms of her new beau. Angel and that heavenly feeling go together well.

Golden voice

Brian McKnight has earned a spot in contemporary music history. He has sold over 20 million albums worldwide and has crossed music boundaries.

Catch the multiawarded singer on March 16 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and March 17 at the Waterfront Cebu Hotel, with special guest Angeline Quinto (Call 911-5555). Let Brian be your (Mc)Knight with the golden voice.

PERSONAL: Thanks a mil to mon cheri Leo Valdez for the sweetest post-VDay celebration.

Happy birthday to such a kind-hearted friend, Butch Raquel.

Okay na sana ang write-up biglang humirit pa talaga uli sa bandang huli. Ma-pride ang lasenggerang kabayong ito. What’s more priceless is the TRUTH rather than your Shrek-style-fabricated-LIES.
