Saab Magalona not saying goodbye to acting yet

Saab Magalona expressed her desire to return to acting one day after she’s done with her current priorities.
The “Coke Studio Philippines” host said in an exclusive interview with Push that acting takes the back seat in her life for now so she can focus on hosting, her band, and raising baby Pancho.
“No, it’s not forever. Never say never. But right now I’m focusing on hosting and also just being a mom and the band,” said Magalona.
Her band, The Cheats, is currently preparing for its third album, on top of multiple gigs lined up in its packed schedule. Magalona also found hosting music feature show “Coke Studio” beneficial to her band.
She said, “It’s just great to be exposed to a lot of other artists here sa Coke Studio season two and getting to know bands more. Like we play with Ben & Ben, we have gigs with them but we never really get to hang out with them so I got to know them better here.”
As for her motherly duties, Magalona said baby Pancho has not forced her to make big adjustments to her life just yet. “I guess right now kasi baby pa yung baby ko (my kid is still a baby) so everything is kind of the same,” explained the host. But when she gets the opportunity, Magalona makes sure she can spend as much time with baby Pancho at home.
“Coke Studio Philippines” is the local counterpart of the international “Coke Studio” music show franchise. Season 2 will premiere on Sept. 16 and will feature 14 local artists. Alfred Bayle /ra
