Huge appetite lands celeb in hospital twice

By:

Controversial Personality had to learn the hard way that gorging is hazardous.

CP underwent a medical procedure to curb a gargantuan appetite. After the surgery, CP hosted a banquet … which led him back to the hospital for a scary health emergency.

A source explained that CP’s love for food made him defy doctors’ orders.

Distorted figure

Scandalous Figure, who is being linked to CP, was recently spotted in public. Observers had to do a double take.

SF was unrecognizable. Apart from the obvious weight gain, SF’s body seemed distorted, at best. Hefty torso and slim arms? Weird.

Was the “distortion” caused by too many trips to the liposuction table? Or is SF a work in progress?

Foul-mouthed beauty

Feisty Celebrity is famous for a quick wit and acerbic tongue. But FC was rendered speechless—a rare occurrence—by the behavior of Erstwhile Costar.

EC had been badmouthing FC and a Beloved Relative. Although FC refused to stoop to EC’s level, she couldn’t help unleashing a quotable quote: “EC sure has a filthy mouth. I wouldn’t waste my time on someone so obviously dumb. I am sure she would end up obese after giving birth.”

EC doesn’t stand a chance.

Know-it-all

Miss Know-It-All doesn’t know all that much.

During a trip abroad, MK was overheard telling Clueless Costar, in her usual arrogant manner: “We should go to that restaurant … We don’t have that franchise in Manila yet.”

Coworkers could only roll their eyes. Apparently, social-climbing MK hasn’t been to Greenbelt Makati lately, where the restaurant opened ages ago.

Another defection?

After Carmina Villaroel and Iza Calzado, another GMA 7 talent is rumored to be crossing over to ABS-CBN.

At a recent event, reporters asked Kapuso execs about the fate of Carla Abellana, who has no new show in the station’s first-quarter lineup.

The bosses’ explanation was that Carla was still busy with the afternoon soap “Kung Aagawin ang Langit.” Seems her GMA 7 contact is about to end, and is up for re-negotiation.

A source close to the actress goes as far as saying, “Nothing is final yet.”

Top of the Talk Shows

PRINCE Stefan: What same-sex marriage?

Vilma Santos, asked if she’s ready to see her son Luis get married: “Ay, ’yan lang ang ’di ko pa ma-imagine kapag nandu’n na siya sa simbahan. Baka humagulgol ako! Pero … he’s old enough to decide for himself. Kung saan liligaya ang anak ko, doon ako.” (Kahit kay Jennylyn!)

Ellen Adarna on fellow “Survivor: Philippines” castaway Maria Isabel Lopez calling her a quitter: “So what? At least hindi kami klepto … off-cam.” (Nakup.)

Maria Isabel Lopez on Ellen Adarna: “Wala ba tayong mas intelektwal na topic? That’s an insult to my intellect! Let’s talk about something else!” (Taray.)

KYLIE Padilla: “Ask my dad.”

Isabel Oli, asked about her breakup with Gab Valenciano: “Matagal na kaming hiwalay … Hanggang ngayon mahirap pa rin. Buti na lang bugbog ako sa work.”

“Starstruck” alum Prince Stefan on his rumored same-sex marriage in New York: “Tsismis talaga! Halatang imbento lang.” (Alamin kung sa’n galing ’yan. You may be surprised.)

CARLA Abellana: Nothing’s final.

Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, asked if son Borgy Manotoc plans to marry Georgina Wilson soon: “Matagal pa ’yun! Mahuhulog pa sa kalendaryo bago mag-isip ’yun! Gusto ko si Georgina! Ayos na ayos sa ’kin ’yun!”

Kylie Padilla, asked if she considered herself a good daughter: “Ask my dad!” (Makes sense.)

Lara Quigaman on her coming wedding to Marco Alcaraz in October: “Sure na sure na!” (Congratulations.)

Sam Milby, asked if he regretted that things didn’t work out for him and Anne Curtis: “There are times like, ‘Ano ba’ng ginawa kong mali?’ Siyempre ’di ako perpekto.  I make a lot of mistakes, but you take everything as a learning experience. That’s all life is.” (Actually, that’s not all.)

SAM Milby: “Where did I go wrong?”

Sam on what convinced him to take a shot at a career in Hollywood: “There are things that you feel you’re just called for. It’s a gut feel. Life is about taking risks.” (See?)

ISABEL Oli: Breakup with Gab still hurts

Iza Calzado, asked how she intends to survive in show biz: “I will always give my best. Sabi ko nga, if you’re destined to shine in something, you will—kahit na tapakan ka pa ng ibang tao, kahit na pigilan ka pa.” (Scary.)

Joey Marquez, asked if he’d get married again: “Wedding is just a ceremony, just a piece of paper that you sign. [But] I’m not closing the door. Well, I’ll probably close the doors and windows, but my roof will remain open.” (Ho-hum.)

This is why Pinas is going down the drain because some people like “Rene V” and “Andres Bonifacio” are illiterate. Kung gusto ko magbasa tungkol sa Local Government, pupunta ba ako sa Entertainment section. Mga imbeciles kayo.
