Unique Salonga to hold first solo concert

/ 01:41 PM July 30, 2018

Just months after Unique Salonga departed from indie band IV of Spades, the musician is already set to hold his first solo concert.

Callalily vocalist Kean Cipriano, who happens to be IV of Spades’ former manager, shared a poster of Salonga for “The Grandma Tour” to be held on September 29 at the Kia Theatre. Tickets will be available for sale on July 31.

With his solo career still fresh, it’s unclear what songs Salonga will perform. He did release a new song and music video last July 12 called “Midnight Sky”, so it should be no surprise if it will be in the lineup.

The former IV of Spades frontman left the group back in May and has since performed on his own in the variety show “ASAP”. One of his staple performances has been IV of Spades’ hit song “Mundo”. JB
