United Kingdom-based streaming service Now TV celebrated 25 years of “Jurassic Park” by erecting a 25-foot-long, half-naked statue of actor Jeff Goldblum.

The statue was modeled after a scene in “Jurassic Park.” It showed a sweaty Goldblum, playing doctor Ian Malcolm, with his shirt open in the front while laying on his side due to an injured leg. Six weeks were spent sculpting the 150-kilogram statue. Marketing company Fever PR then positioned the art piece, nicknamed “Jurassic Jeff,” in front of the London Tower Bridge along the river Thames, reports The Drum.

Canadian radio personality Adam Ricard tweeted a snapshot of the imposing sculpture on June 18. He asked fans to let go of reason and “just bask in its nonsensical glory,” noting that “none of the movie was filmed in London nor is Jeff Goldblum a native of the English capital.”

Steven Spielberg’s dinosaur masterpiece actually celebrated its 25th anniversary back on June 11. However, Now TV decided to use the opportunity to promote the availability of “Jurassic Park” on the streaming service’s movie lineup.

Released in 1993, “Jurassic Park” had been a cutting-edge production during its time. It employed a combination of computer-generated graphics (CGI) and practical effects (animatronic dinosaurs, costumed actors) to create a unique experience for moviegoers.
