Sitti Navarro, husband hold gender reveal party; expecting baby girl

Bossa nova singer Sitti Navarro and husband Joey Ramirez revealed recently on social media that they are expecting a baby girl. Navarro took to her Instagram account last July 14 to share that they themselves didn’t know their baby’s gender and would only be discovering it that same day in their gender reveal party.

“Today is the day we find out if it’s a Libubs or a Lilibubs! Yup! We’ve been calling our little bean ‘Libubs’, short for Little Bubs (Bubs ang tawagan namin ni @joeyramirez12),” shared Navarro in her Instagram post.

“Anyway, when we find out the gender later, we’ll of course call him/her by his/her (ang hirap a!) proper nickname, but for now, do you belong to Team Libubs or to Team Lilibubs??”

Later on, Navarro shared video clips of her and Ramirez hitting the piñata to find out the baby’s gender. After some tense seconds of whacking the piñata it finally broke free and confetti flew everywhere.

Their loved ones cheered while Navarro and Ramirez kissed and hugged.

In her Instagram Stories yesterday, July 16, Navarro shared some scenes from their Pinoy fiesta-themed gender reveal party.

“If you want to tipid, do it yourself,” Navarro wrote as she shared an Instagram Story of her fixing the table cover for the event.

“One week prep! Naitawid,” she added. “@JoeyRamirez12 and I laid out all the plates and cutleries on the tables.”

The party was held apparently in a community sports facility, decked with colorful banderitas and balloons to give them the festive air.

Staying true to the theme, fish balls and squid balls were part of the feast, as well as other Pinoy favorites like barbecue, puto, pancit bihon, lumpia, sago’t gulaman and the obligatory lechon.
