Justin’s marriage proposal no spur-of-the-moment decision

While Justin Bieber’s marriage proposal to model Hailey Baldwin shocked fans and seemingly came out of nowhere, the pop star’s move apparently involved advanced planning.
According to TMZ, Justin sought to have a talk with Hailey’s father, actor Stephen Baldwin, weeks before he popped the question to his girlfriend during a vacation in the Bahamas.
“We’re told the conversation was very important to Justin, who absolutely wanted the green light from Hailey’s pop,” TMZ said, citing sources close to the stars.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, Justin posted a love letter for Hailey, whom he described as the “love of my life.”
“I promise to lead our family with honor and integrity, letting Jesus through his Holy Spirit guide us in everything we do and every decision we make.
“My heart is completely and fully yours, and I will put you first,” he wrote. “I wouldn’t want to spend it with anybody else.” —ALLAN POLICARPIO
