Kris Aquino on work versus parenting: ‘When in doubt, choose the kids’

Kris Aquino may have been so busy with her jam-packed schedule but it doesn’t mean she’ll prioritize work over her two sons. The Queen of All Media stresses the importance of Josh and Bimby’s health over “everything else” in her life.
Aquino shared a text photo via Instagram yesterday, July 15, with the words: “When in doubt, choose the kids. There will be plenty of time later to choose work.” Apparently, Josh has been “hiccuping nonstop” since 8 p.m. of July 14.
The Queen of All Media said that they tried remedies readily found online and had made “nonstop calls” to their family’s pediatrician. Josh is scheduled for an executive check-up on July 19.
“Kung ako lang ‘to- kakayanin dahil sa trabaho BAWAL sumuko. But this is my panganay,” wrote Aquino. “Finally napatulog ko na si kuya. Kuya has been having stomach problems for this whole month.”
(If it were only me, I’d be able to take it because in work, there is no such thing as giving up. But this is my firstborn. Finally, I was able to tuck [Josh] in. [Josh] has been having stomach problems this whole month.)
Aquino then stated that she will “forever” choose Josh and Bimby over work: “Because no matter how much [I] need this work to support my sons [and] our KCAP [Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions] team by honoring commitments- my priority is the well being [and] health of the [two] most important people in my life. [I’m] a mother [and] it will FOREVER be my [two] sons over [and] above everything else in my life.”
The Queen of All Media ended her post by asking fans to help her pray for the well-being of Josh.

In another Instagram post yesterday, Aquino wrote that their doctor stated there’s a probability that Josh’s hiccups were a “manifestation of an anxiety attack.” Moreover, she expressed her appreciation of how blessed she is for her two sons, particularly for Bimby waking up early and preparing immediately for the shoot because he doesn’t want to burden her.
“[Of] course mama because kuya needs you,” Bimby remarked, which the Queen of All Media quoted.
