Korean drama, Korean music, Korean skincare products and even Korean food — these are the staples for Filipinos obsessed with anything Korean. Imagine how happy Filipino fans would be if they’d get to spot not one, but two Kpop stars in their turf.

Former U-Kiss member and “My Korean Jagiya” star Alexander Lee shared via Instagram Story today, June 21, a video of him apparently taken in Metro Manila, wearing a white bathrobe while fluffing his wet hair. The actor said, “Just took a shower.”

“And I’m not alone tonight. Good night!” the star jokingly added after focusing the camera to his sleeping companion — a gingerbread man stuffed toy.

Meanwhile, 2PM’s member, Nichkhun Horvejkul, was spotted by eagle-eyed fans in Cebu last Monday, June 18. One Twitter user, @moondiyeon, said that s/he saw the Thai-American K-pop star while checking in at Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

Six hours after @moondiyeon’s tweet was posted, another netizen, Elle (@SeohyunsTrash), shared via Twitter photos of Nichkhun taken at a restaurant in Mactan.

The two Kpop stars are in the country to participate in season two of tvN Asia’s “One Night Food Trip: International Edition” alongside Danica Sotto-Pingris and Ciara Sotto-Oconer.

Pingris shared via Instagram today a video of her and Oconer trying out chili ice cream for breakfast in Legazpi, Albay.

“One Night Food Trip: International Edition” will follow the format of the popular Korean food contest. The four contestants will be traveling in pairs across the country to eat, play and compete for the coveted Golden Passport.

Seeing how Filipinos love food just as much as they love K-pop stars, they will certainly enjoy watching the show once it airs. JB
