Rufa Mae Quinto reveals story behind funny snapshot with baby Athena in pool

Rufa Mae Quinto talked about the story behind a funny snapshot with her daughter Athena in a pool.
The comedienne shared the backstory of the funny picture uploaded on her Instagram last May 7. In the snapshot, it appeared Quinto was holding her daughter’s head above the water through the child’s hair.

“Diba lagi syang may tali sa buhok? Tinatanggal ko yung tali. Kumbaga hawak ko sya tapos nanglalaban na parang alam mo na, yung bata gumaganun,” narrated Quinto during an interview on the June 19 episode of the evening talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda.”
(Remember how she always has her hair tied up? I was taking off the hair tie. I held her, but you know how kids are and she started to thrash about.)
She added, “Hindi ko naman ho sasaktan yung anak ko (I wouldn’t hurt my child on purpose).”
Athena Alexandria Magallanes celebrated her first birthday last Feb. 17 with a princess-themed party. She also had her baptism.
Meanwhile, she also revealed how her husband, Trevor Magallanes, is happy with the people that Quinto currently works with. Magallanes believes they will be a positive influence on his wife. /ra
