Seo Kang-joon talked about playing the role of a robot in the ongoing drama “Are You Human?” during a recent photo shoot with a local magazine, K-Pop Herald reports.

The drama, which premiered June 4, centers around Nam Shin, a third-generation chaebol heir who falls into a coma following an accident, and his mother who creates a robot duplicate of him called Nam Shin III. Seo plays both the sick man and the robot.

“It was hard to play the robot convincingly, as there was a scarcity of references and the role was methodically different from what I’ve done before,” he said.
