Jung So-min to star in remake of hit Japanese series
“Because This is My First Life” lead actress Jung So-min will be back in the spotlight through the upcoming drama series tentatively titled “100 Million Stars From the Sky” on cable channel tvN.
The new series is a remake of the hit Japanese Fuji TV series “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes” which aired there in 2002. The plot centers on a chef and a writer who are destined to fall in love with each other, K-Pop Herald reports.
Jung rose to stardom when she starred in the hit drama series “Father is Strange” in 2017. She is currently in a romantic relationship with her co-star, actor Lee Joon.
Singer-turned-actor Seo In-guk is to take the male lead role. It will be his second time working with director Yoo Jae-won, following “High School King” in 2014.
The romantic-comedy drama series is set to air in the second half of this year. JB
