LOOK: KC Concepcion, Aly Borromeo remain in contact despite rumored breakup

Many were happy when KC Concepcion and Aly Borromeo, whose rumored breakup two months ago had their admirers mourning their great love, had an amicable exchange on social media yesterday.
Back in March, fans assumed that the two had separated when Concepcion posted a cryptic message about Borromeo, saying, “Timing is everything.” Meanwhile in February, it appeared that the two did not celebrate Valentine’s Day together as their social media accounts were absent of photos of each other about the special day.
Concepcion has since then focused on her own endeavors and Borromeo on his, with Concepcion launching her own jewelry line, “Avec Moi by Kristina.” But while many were sad about Concepcion and Borromeo’s love story, it seems the two are still in contact with each other.
Borromeo, footballer and team captain of Kaya F.C., shared a photo of him yesterday on his Instagram. In the picture, Borromeo can be seen standing on the shores of Siargao beach, with the picturesque skies and sunset as his backdrop.
“Just had to smile with this beauty of a sunset,” wrote Borromeo.
Concepcion, upon seeing Borromeo’s picture, commented, “Nice Al! Positive vibes, positive life!”
Borromeo replied, “@itskcconcepcion I learned from the best!”

The brief exchange between the two seemed to have rekindled hope in their fans’ fervent hearts, with some of them expressing that they still felt “kilig” over the two.
“@itskcconcepcion we still feel kilig kahit sa ganitong simple gestures niyo sa isa’t isa. Love you both,” wrote a certain Jackelyn (@jackelyntaguiam).
“@alybor11 @itskcconcepcion You make us kilig again,” added one Nimsah (@nimsahedardna). “Hope this will continue to bloom just like before.”
The two have never outwardly mentioned that they are no longer together, though it seems they are still in good terms as they continue to let their friendship, above all else, take its course. /ra
