LOOK: Sharon Cuneta undergoes 2nd surgery to remove lipoma

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has just undergone another surgery to remove her lipoma. This is the second time Cuneta went through an operation to remove the benign tumor, the first one performed last month. Back then, Cuneta shared that she had a lipoma on the back of her neck, a bump that her “yaya” and assistant had first noticed until it eventually grew.
Yesterday Cuneta took to her Instagram to inform her loyal followers about her second lipoma surgery. “Hi. This is just a photo of my right hand after my I.V. had been removed,” wrote Cuneta, showing a picture of her hand dressed with a cotton ball. “I just got home after my second lipoma surgery.”
Cuneta added, “Much bigger than the first. I still have a drain attached which they will remove tomorrow. Please say a prayer for me. Love you guys. God bless us all! Goodnight and sweet dreams.”
An outpouring of well-wishes and prayers came from Cuneta’s fans who, although concerned, believe she’ll bounce right back and recover quickly.
“I hope it didn’t hurt you that much and it’ll heal too fast cos I don’t want you to feel the pain,” wrote a certain Mexxy (@megadaughters_mexxy). “Sakit sa puso. And I hope po the kids are at your side to make you feel okay. I love you po. Sending prayers always for you. Also hugs! He’ll never set you aside.”
“Oh my! Mama please have a good rest. Get well soon! We Sharonians will definitely pray for you and your health,” wrote one Leeanne (@gens_lee_love_mega) to Cuneta.
Some also told her to take it easy and avoid stress. “Avoid too much stress po!” wrote a certain Maricar (@maricar_ciruela). “Just take everyday life easy and cool.”
Recovery and rest are definitely in order for the Megastar, as she is set to perform in her concert in just two days’ time. Her “Sharon: 40th Mega Philippine Tour,” which will be held in the SMX Convention Center in Bacolod this Friday, June 1, will have balladeer Basil Valdez and Martin Nievera as her special guests. /ra
