SPEEd, FDCP to screen ‘Birdshot’ and ‘Deadma Walking’

Two film nominees for the 2018 Entertainment Editors’ Awards (2nd Eddy Awards) will be screened during the two-day workshop of the Film Development of the Philippines (FDCP).

TBA’s “Birdshot” and T-Rex Entertainment’s “Deadma Walking” will be shown on May 26 and 27 at FDCP’s Cinematheque Center Manila.

The film screening will be held right after the FDCP workshops on scriptwriting (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 nn) and sound design (2 p.m. to 5 p.m.) on May 26; and the workshops on acting (9 a.m. to 12 nn) and cinematography (2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 27.

The film nominees for the 2nd Eddy Awards will be recognized at The Eddys Nominees Night.

The officers of the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) and FDCP Chair Liza Dino will also be awarding special certificates at an event to be held at the Valencia Events Place in Quezon City on June 3.

The awarding ceremonies for the 2nd Eddy Awards is scheduled in early July and will be held in partnership with FDCP and Globe. /ee
