Dingdong Dantes to direct Marian Rivera in episode of ‘Tadhana’

Hubby Dingdong Dantes is set to direct an episode of Kapuso Saturday drama anthology “Tadhana,” which features wife Marian Rivera, who also hosts the show.
In an Instagram story, the actor/director posted a photo of a script with his name on as the director and Rivera being cast as Jackie Humabon for the anniversary special of the program.
Apart from his directorial debuts, Dantes stars in the much-awaited movie “Sid and Aya: Not a Love Story,” with fellow former ‘90s teen show “T.G.I.S” cast member Anne Curtis.
The award-winning actor is set to do another movie with Star Cinema under the helm of critically acclaimed director Olive Lamasan. No other details, however, have been announced about the project yet.
Even though he is a contract artist of the Kapuso network, Dantes is definitely a Star Cinema favorite having done six films under the movie production giant. His last was the family movie “Seven Sundays” directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. CLARIZEL G. ABANILLA
