Agot Isidro is not one to be silenced when it comes to exercising the freedom of expression in her own social media pages. In the past, Isidro has criticized the government and President Rodrigo Duterte himself, never holding back in airing out her grievances.

Subjecting her social media accounts to the public, however, attracts all sorts of people, with supporters and bashers alike usually clashing in her tweets.

On May 13, Isidro took to her Twitter account once more to show a screenshot of a tweet that a netizen wrote in reply to her. The tweet was vitriolic in nature, with the netizen wishing for death and rape on Isidro and her “child.”

Mamatay ka na pls Agot. Pati mga anak mo i-massacre sana ng mga addict,” wrote a certain Marco. “Typical crab mentality, millions of people voted for Duterte deal with it. Pls sana i-massacre and ma-rape anak mo pls.”

(Please die, Agot. I hope your children get massacred by addicts. Typical crab mentality, millions of people voted for Duterte, [so] deal with it. Please, I hope your kids get massacred and raped.)

Isidro, on her end, wrote, “Such class. Happy Mother’s Day to your Mom!” But in a follow up tweet, Isidro addressed the “DDS” (Diehard Duterte Supporters), saying their threats and insults are for naught.

“Dear DDS, your threats and insults do not do anything to me BUT make me STRONGER. Kaya sige lang (So bring it on).”

It is unknown which tweet of Isidro the netizen first replied to, but in the past few days, Isidro had been vocal on her Twitter regarding the ousting of Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno. Isidro slammed the senators for their “inaction.” JB
