LOOK: Harry Styles spotted by fans in BGC, and they go crazy

Filipino fans of the English singer-songwriter Harry Styles went in a frenzy when they chanced upon him casually buying gelato at the Gelatissimo Cafe in Bonifacio Global City, Monday night, April 30. Styles arrived in Manila on the same day, just a day before his May 1 concert at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
It seems fans were not able to control themselves when they saw Styles in BGC, soon blowing up Twitter with their sighting of Styles. A certain Kristin Purnell took to Twitter in a storm after seeing Styles inside the cafe.
“We were buying ice cream and on our way back I was just looking around yk (you know) lotsa foreigners like wow y so many and so I look in this ice cream shop and there’s this cute curly man standing in there wearing the exact same hat Harry was wearing when he arrives and so I look in more & saw it really was him,” wrote Purnell, sharing video clips that she took of Styles.

One Myra also tweeted about Styles, writing, “Meanwhile @Harry_Styles just bought ice-cream in BGC. It’s bad enough that I’m #TeamBahay but to miss him when I’m just meters away from him is too much. I KENAT! Why God why?”

“Harry Styles with some lucky fans [in] BGC he just went out to buy an ice cream I repeat he [bought] an ice cream!!! #NOCHILLPHILIPPINES #HarryStylesManila #HarryStylesMNL,” wrote a certain Syd on the same day as well, showing pictures of lucky fans who got to take selfies with Styles.

It seems, too, that Styles didn’t fail in mesmerizing the crowd during his concert on May 1. Actress Sarah Lahbati, who accompanied her niece Venice Bektas (Ruffa Gutierrez’s daughter) to the concert found herself unable to control swooning over Styles.
She shared in her Instagram stories yesterday some throwback clips of her and Venice in One Direction’s concert in Manila last 2015, showing Venice crying at the sight of her idols. She teased Venice, writing, “Are you ready for tonight @venicebektas?!!!”
In another Instagram Story, Lahbati shared a clip of Styles during the concert, writing, “You sexy beast.”

The frenzy over Styles by his younger fans may have been expected, but it can be observed that even moms like Lahbati have no immunity to Styles’ effect. And who could blame her? Let’s just hope Richard Gutierrez doesn’t see her Instagram Stories. JB
