Sharon Cuneta, Sen. Pangilinan mark 22nd wedding anniversary with sweet love letters

Despite the highs, setbacks and tempests throughout their married life, Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Kiko Pangilinan have remained each other’s constant best friend.
The two recently celebrated their 22 years of being husband and wife, both taking to their social media pages to write endearing letters to each other. Cuneta was the first to greet husband Kiko — or Kikyoo, as she calls him — through her Instagram account last April 27, with her half a million followers as witnesses.
“Thank you for my beautiful Anniversary flowers, Sutart (sweetheart),” gushed Cuneta. “And for the sweet message. Hasn’t been an easy 22 years, but here we are still – and with our four not-so-little Gremlins! May God bless us and our family always. Thanks, Kikyoo! Love you my Dorkie. Happy 22nd!!!”
Earlier this year, Cuneta admitted in the afternoon variety show ASAP’s birthday bash for her that she and husband Pangilinan almost lost each other at some point. Thankfully, the two have patched things up and are staying together. Cuneta also caused a stir in the internet world when she and ex-husband Gabby Concepcion teased and bantered on Instagram, eventually reuniting in February for a McDonald’s commercial that had practically everybody reeling.
However, it is still Pangilinan who she chooses to be with, and two days ago, April 28, Pangilinan also took to Instagram to write Cuneta a letter. “Happy 22nd to my sweetheart! Here is to twenty plus plus plus more years of marriage and family life with you and you only. What an exhilarating, exciting, at times difficult yet truly meaningful journey ours has been thus far!” wrote Pangilinan.
“And I would go through all of it with you by my side again and again and again if asked to because I love you dearly, with all my heart and treasure all that we have become…”
He added: “You will ALWAYS be to me an answered prayer and a rare and precious gift from up above. …..and as our utterly silly and original love song of over 20 years goes…’and when I kiss your lips, I know our love’s for kips (keeps)’…hahaha.”
Sweet and heartfelt Pangilian’s letter was, Cuneta hilariously revealed on Instagram also two days ago that he actually lost his phone, which is why he couldn’t post his letter right away.
It was a good thing, then, that he eventually found it and was finally able to share his message to his wife. Cuneta was proud and happy to share the message with her fans, whose devotion to her can be surpassed only by that of the senator’s, through 22 years and counting. JB
