JC’s ‘man-crush’ on Piolo

Working with Piolo Pascual for the first time, JC de Vera said, only reaffirmed what he—and many others—knew all along: That Piolo is one good-looking guy.

And imposingly so. “I get scared I wouldn’t be able to do my job 100 percent because I get intimidated by him, ” JC said of his “Since I Found You” costar in a recent interview with reporters. “Many actors like me idolize him. And now I’m working with him. What are the chances?”

“I’m a straight man, but I can say na sobrang pogi niya. Sometimes, when we do scenes and he’s looking at me, I can’t help but think, ‘Ang pogi talaga nito—walang mali, eh!” he said, laughing. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
