Thai food on my mind
By: Mandy NavaseroPhilippine Daily Inquirer
It’s been almost three months since I was in Thailand—but, its shimmering golden temples and spicy food are still on my mind.
When I arrived in Manila, I took a friend to the Just Thai restaurant (on Burgos Circle, Global City).
We indulged in authentic-tasting Thai dishes, which included khao krok kapi or bagoong rice, kuai tiao neua (a steaming bowl of beef noodle soup with herbs and spices), gai pad gaprow (stir-fried chicken strips, topped with crispy basil leaves), pla rad prik (crispy fish fillet) and pandan-wrapped chicken—truly flavorful and mouth-watering!
We had sticky rice and mangoes for dessert. Takeout is available. Call 403-8718.
