This is the season when graduation ceremonies are happening here and there. Halls, gymnasiums, even some malls are being filled with wide-smiling students about to receive the fruits of their labor. But when the dusts settle, it’s common for new graduates to feel lost and wondering what to do next.

2. Everyone’s Getting Married

Based on the manga series “Totsuzen Desu ga, Ashita Kekkon Shimasu” by Izumi Miyazono, this Japanese drama portrays a complex, quirky, but very true-to-life love story between a girl who dreams of a happy marriage and a guy who never wants to get married.

Asuka Takanashi (Mariya Nishiuchi) is a twenty-something woman who works for a megabank and holds various professional qualifications in finance. Despite her successful career, she is extremely eager to get married and become a stay-at-home housewife. One day, she gets dumped by her boyfriend of five years. Desperate to find her next potential husband, she immediately starts searching to find the love of her life. She meets Ryu Nanami (Ryuta Yamamura), a popular TV newscaster. He appears to be the most ideal man for Asuka, except that Ryu is 100 percent against the idea of marriage and is determined to never get married. However, despite their different views on marriage, they eventually fall in love and start their relationship. It seemed everything was going so well, until the beginning of their “Battle of Values.” Where is their romantic relationship headed? Will Asuka have her dream of a marriage come true?

3. Dream High 2

Kirin High School of Art Star trains those with potential in the field of art, but goes bankrupt due to bad management. All of the teachers have left the school except for stubborn Yang Jin Man, the president of the school. He is influenced by the philosophy of education and he makes the school a hostel. Shin Hae Sung is determined to be the best musician although she is not good at studying. Facing a group of talented classmates, she strives to perform well despite the difficulties.

Filmed in the form of a documentary, this story from Hong Kong is about four young people chasing their dreams in a span of five years.

Lok wants to succeed in her career. Dixon is Lok’s polar opposite. Daisy dreams of becoming an Internet celebrity. And Jun is determined to become an actor. Will they succeed in being the people they want to be?

5. Lovers of Music

Jang Jun Hyeon is a popular musician and also a genius songwriter. He meets Choi Chun Hui who is crazy about trot music and supports her family all by herself. He helps her to achieve her dream to be a successful trot singer even though it is not without a few obstacles along the way.
