WATCH: Quark Henares’ proposal to Bianca Yuzon gets full support from Vicki Belo, Atom Henares

Vicki Belo’s son Quark Henares got engaged to his girlfriend Bianca Yuzon in a proposal fitting for the two artistic souls: the shooting of a music video.
Quark, a director and Globe Studios head, orchestrated a shooting in a studio for singer-songwriter Bianca. Unknown to her, close family and friends were tucked away in a holding room and bore witness to the special occasion via a live video on a projector screen.
Quark’s sister Cristalle documented the moments leading up to the proposal on her Instagram Stories. She shared that as Bianca performed during the shoot directed by Quark, the backdrop fell to reveal neon lights that spelled out, “I love you Bianca, will you marry me?”

His family was in full force for the engagement: mom Vicki Belo, dad Atom Henares, stepdad Hayden Kho and little sister Scarlet Snow Belo were all present. The couple’s cat SJ also celebrated with them.

According to Cristalle, the engagement ring belonged to their late grandmother Nena Belo.
Bianca was evidently overjoyed as she shared picture-perfect moments of when she said yes.

“Today I got to verbally respond to a life-changing question that Quark asked in such breath-taking fashion, the truth being that my heart has spoken for me a long time ago: Yes, I would love to spend the rest of my days with you,” she shared.
“Supporting each other and growing in many ways together, traveling, giving back, dancing like loons and singing at the top of our lungs, making and appreciating art, taking care of each other, SJ and other fur babies, and eventually raising hooman (and maybe faerie) children of our own.”

The couple met in 2015 at a Christmas party and hit it off instantly. Both found common ground in their artistic interests; they also studied at the The New York Film Academy at different points in their lives. JB
