Netizens speculate Joshua Garcia, Julia Barretto have broken up

Have they broken up? Was there even a relationship?

It was through a series of intriguing post of Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia that led fans to think trouble might be brewing between him and rumored girlfriend actress Julia Barretto.

Garcia is currently in Bali, Indonesia. Many noticed that he is without Barretto and his cryptic posts only made the public’s speculations worse.

One of his posts said, “I’m working on myself, for my self, by myself,” as his photo showed him looking far out to the distance looking sad.

In another post, he posed with a surfboard at Seminyak Beach in Bali. His caption to it likewise seemed yet again intriguing, “Sometimes in the waves of change we find our true direction.”

Many netizens then asked the actor where Barretto was while others directly speculated they might have broken up.

Such break-up rumors first came out after Garcia’s alleged conversation with a fan carrying the Twitter handle @danerhea came out on social media. Screenshots of this supposed conversation made rounds online. In the said conversation, it was the “The Good Son” actor who wants to meet the netizen in person.

Although he did not publicly answer the controversy, he had a Twitter post that seemed to relate to the issue.

Although they have never really publicly admitted that they are officially together, it is no secret to the public that Garcia and Barretto are special to each other. In fact, they are always seen travelling together, with Garcia even tagging along the travels of Barretto’s family.
