’NSync, one of the most popular boy bands of the ’90s, is set to “reunite” and receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 30.

All five members—Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick—are expected to attend the unveiling of their collective star on 7080 Hollywood Boulevard.

The event coincides with the 20th anniversary of ’NSync’s self-titled debut album, which spawned the hits, “Tearing Up My Heart” and “I Want You Back.”

FEATURED STORIES

“How fitting [that] this ceremony will take place on It’s Gonna Be May Day!” Lance wrote on Twitter, referencing the dance tune “It’s Gonna Be Me,” which has become a popular internet meme that pokes fun at how Justin sings the word “me” as “may.”

Other boy bands who have been given stars are Backstreet Boys, New Edition and New Kids on the Block. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
