It must be because of the pressures of budding stardom. Energetic Maiden almost threw in the towel, out of sheer exasperation.
EM confided to a friend the wish to slow down and return to a life of quiet anonymity. EM belatedly found out that fame came at a steep price.
The chatty confidante, however, informed the top execs about EM’s secret desire to quit.
Handlers swiftly swooped down on and convinced EM to remain in the biz. Even EM’s pronouncements, which alluded to the problem, were erased from cyberspace.
Snoops to conquer
Gotta hand it to Scintillating Luminary. Seemed SL had been hearing all sorts of rumors about the troubled love life of cohort, Celebrated Star.
SL kept interrogating a common acquaintance about the state of CS’ personal affairs. SL knew which questions to ask, but was chatting with the wrong person who was blissfully unaware of the brewing brouhaha.
Months later, SL’s suspicions were proven not without basis. Looks like SL has a bright future as private detective, too.
Fiery playmate
Glamorous Enchantress has a lucrative sideline. GE was once the favorite playmate of Pugnacious Mogul. GE hit the jackpot with PM, who’s loaded with moolah.
Alas, when PM’s Kinetic Buddy flew into town, GE was forced to do double duty. With PM’s blessing, GE became KB’s constant companion.
Well, GE again stumbled on a goldmine. KB is wealthier and more popular than PM.
Gifted
Not a few insiders are perplexed why Pretty Partner has fallen head over heels with Macho Beau.
For starters, MB is not as gorgeous as PP’s previous conquests. Turns out MB boasts a rather prodigious asset. MB is “blessed” where it matters the most.
Ahem. Ahem.
Unfortunately, that’s not enough to keep PP from straying …
Cash and curry

No longer as young and vibrant, TG eventually had to move away from the glitz and glamour of the biz and slug it out in the real world.
Coworkers detest TG, who has a tendency to step on other people just to get ahead in the game.
TG would badmouth colleagues, to curry favor with the bosses. TG would spare no one—including clueless compatriots.
TG would go to great lengths, in order to secure a promotion.
