Korean stars Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo encourage K-drama fans to stream series legally.

“I hope that you will watch the drama through legal means,” Lee said in a video posted by Viu Philippines Facebook page, which is part of the video-on-demand application’s campaign against piracy.

Han Hyo-joo, Lee’s leading lady in the 2017 series “W (Two Worlds)”, shares the same sentiment with his former co-star.

“Watch legally, alright?” the actress asked supporters, expressing her gratefulness to those who stream via proper channels.

Viu also stated in the video the consequences of watching series from illegal sources, citing a particular website as a sample.

“Watching from Kissasian is stealing; stealing from your oppa, stealing your oppa’s hardwork, stealing their ratings illegally,” the campaign said.
