Maine Mendoza punched while on ‘sugod-bahay’ segment; reacts to pain

Kapuso breakout actress-host Maine Mendoza was “angrily” punched by someone at the “Sugod Bahay” segment of long-running noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”

In a video uploaded by Instagram fan page @maichardheartforever, a bystander all of a sudden appeared from behind and punched the actress in the arm. Maine looked all too shocked at what happened and she was immediately protected from the unidentified attacker.

The incident happened despite body guards surrounding her.

The actress immediately gained sympathy from netizens.  

The show however, went on but the pain from the bystander’s attack was obvious with Maine’s reactions./jpv
