It’s not over ’til it’s over for Kris Aquino, it seems. What is the Queen of All Media to do now when after dedicating her entire heart to her kids and saying they are all she needs in life, son Bimby suddenly gives her his blessing for a good relationship?

The surprising revelation came last Thursday when Aquino shared on Instagram a video of her and her sons during a shoot at her home for one of the brands she endorses. In it, Aquino can be heard asking her sons what their birthday wish is for her.

“A good relationship,” said Bimby matter-of-factly. “If you want, I will let you go.”

Aquino, eyes widened and seemingly unable to believe what she heard, asked, “Oh my God! Am I dreaming?”

“No,” quipped Bimby.

After quickly regaining her composure, Aquino then turned to her eldest son Josh and asked him what he wanted for her who, in turn, gave her a more practical wish: cash.

“But you have inheritance,” Bimby interrupted, posting an accusing finger at his mother

Aquino jokingly replied, “No, but I’ll get some of his. Thank you. He said he’ll give me eh.”

All seems to be well for Aquino and her sons, as they just got back from their trip abroad in time for her birthday last Feb. 14. The tight-knit family went to the West Coast in the United States with good friends Gary Garcia and his partner, Veronica.

Two days ago, Aquino shared a picture of her, Bimby and Josh inside a plane, likely on their way back home to the Philippines after their mini vacation. She commended Philippine Airlines for the comfort and convenience of their West Coast flights, and wished their newest planes arrive soon.

It’s back to work once again for Aquino, too, as she said she’s ready to go back to work, from “February 20 straight until the 28th.” Surely, a hardworking woman like Aquino deserves a break every now and then.

Perhaps a big break in love? Now that her romantic life has one-half of her sons’ blessings, it’s no longer a question of when, but who. JB
