Alodia Gosiengfiao to Wil Dasovich: ‘My life changed since I met you’

Wilodia fans have more reason to celebrate after YouTube star Wil Dasovich confirmed his relationship with Alodia Gosiengfiao.
After months of speculation of “are they, aren’t they?” Gosiengfiao poured her feelings for the Fil-Am vlogger in a video that has recently gone viral.
She started by recounting her life before Dasovich entered the picture with clips from her career. The professional cosplayer revealed her introverted nature, saying, “I’ve always kept to myself. I’ve always hidden behind a mask.”
Her passion and hard work with cosplaying, anime and gaming have catapulted her to the world stage which she said made her “genuinely happy.”
However, the busy schedule and commitments were a lot to handle. “There was a point though that sometimes I felt like a doll. I felt like a robot… I was too caught up in my own world. I’ve always kept moving, not stopping for anything nor for anyone.”
“But last year my life changed since I met you,” she said, addressing Dasovich and showing a clip from when they first met at a Manila airport in April 2017. “You showed me a different aspect of life. You showed me the world wasn’t so scary after all.”
Gosiengfiao shared more videos of their time together since the fateful meeting, such as travel vlogs to days in the hospital as she supported Dasovich through his battle with cancer.
After he was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer, Gosiengfiao spent time back and forth from San Francisco where he lives with his parents and received treatment.
“You are the best thing that ever happened to me and you are the one who made the greatest impact on my life and I thank you for that. You taught me to be human,” she said.
“Always know that you will forever have my support as well as my heart. This is just the beginning,” she said and whispered an “I love you” as the video ended.
Dasovich gave a heartfelt response to the video as he commented, “I’ve admired you from our first conversation… The world needed to know about you and how special you really are.”
“Thank you for everything and cheers to sharing more experiences together for the coming years! I wouldn’t be here without you,” he added.
In his vlog, Dasovich said they had never hidden the relationship. “For the most part, we just thought it was obvious. And after a while, it kind of just became a running joke because the thing is everyone knew.” JB
