As many showered loved ones with flowers and chocolates on Valentine’s Day, Jason Abalos decided to go practical and personal with his present to Vickie Rushton.
The 33-year-old actor gave his girlfriend red bear-shaped balloons and a special “DIY vanity mirror,” as per Rushton’s post on Instagram.

The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate, 25, expressed appreciation, as she wrote in the caption, “I love the way you love me. I love how you take care of me. I love the way you make me laugh. I love how you keep working to be a better man.”
For his part, Abalos has not held back on cheesy posts on social media for his lady love, such as with a January photo of the two, where he said, “Kahit sing labo ko ang mundo, malinaw ka pa din.” (Even if the world is as blurry as I am, you remain clear.)

On Valentine’s Day, he shared a picture of Rushton seated atop a mountain and captioned it with a Corinthians verse on love.

The couple has also had their share of intrigue: in May 2017, a minor alleged that Abalos asked her for sexual favors on social media. After the post went viral, it was observed that Rushton unfollowed Abalos on Instagram.
However, it seems their relationship has remained strong, with Abalos supporting his girlfriend’s bid for the Bb. Pilipinas crown this year. JB
