Karylle on meeting Marian: It was a beautiful moment

“It was a beautiful moment.”
That was how Karylle described her chance encounter with Marian Rivera at a recent event.
The singer, who was previously in a relationship with Marian’s husband, Dingdong Dantes, didn’t mean to publicize the meeting. However,
her friend Vice Ganda inadvertently revealed it in a recent episode of “It’s Showtime,” saying that the two ladies exchanged pleasantries and kisses.
“Maybe he was just happy about it and couldn’t help but share it with [the audience],” Karylle, who’s now married to Yael Yuzon of the band Sponge Cola, told reporters at a press conference on Monday.
“But, let’s just leave it at that,” she added, when pressed for more details. “I don’t want to be misinterpreted by people and think that I’m making a thing out of this.”
Meanwhile, at another media event earlier that day, Marian related that it wasn’t the first time she and Karylle had crossed paths. She also stressed that she had never felt awkward with Karylle. “We saw each other at a tribute for Dolphy—OK naman … I greet her when I see her.
