Seven years may have gone by, but the romance between Miss World 2013 Megan Young and actor Mikael Daez is apparently still as strong as ever.
On Instagram on Thursday, the actress-beauty queen went all sentimental as she looked back to the first time she and Daez met while sharing a sweet photo of them, with Young looking extremely happy as he was wrapping her up in his jacket and giving her a hug.
She shared that destiny brought them together in a backstage event, where the actor was a model for a show while she did hosting duties.
“I was feeling a bit down and the room was chilly – which he innocently lent me his jacket,” Young fondly remembered. “We didn’t really talk much that night but his gesture left a lasting impression!”
Ending her post on a light note, she then joked, “[Seven] years later, this is how he lends me his jacket.”
This sent Young’s followers to show their kilig and leave comments about the photo.

Although they have been in a relationship for so long, it was only last year that they admitted it and said that they wanted to maintain it low-key unlike other celebrity couples who publicly acknowledge their relationships. /ra
