Xian Lim still mum about relationship with Kim Chiu: ‘Huwag muna natin pangunahan’
Despite spending the holidays with actress and love team partner Kim Chiu in Europe, where they marveled at the Northern Lights in Finland, Xian Lim still chooses to keep mum about his relationship status with her. The two first met when they starred together in rom-com television drama “My Binondo Girl” back in 2011, and continued on to star in more series and movies as a love team.
Yet, despite the glaring signs that the two are in fact dating, if not together, Lim remains vague about the two of them. “Dapat huwag muna natin pangunahan dahil baka ma-jinx natin, di ba?” Lim told the Philippine Entertainment Portal on Jan. 23. “Hindi talaga namin pinag-uusapan yun, yung score between her and me.”
(We shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves because we might jinx it, right? We really don’t talk about it, the score between her and me).
Regardless of Lim’s non-admission, he takes to Instagram regularly to share pictures of him and Chiu for their fans. He posted a video on Jan. 5 of their European trip, which included a series of clips of the two of them enjoying the holidays. In one scene, they are both seen sledding down the snowy slopes, with Chiu manning the vehicle.

Yet, even though the two are still fresh from their romantic European trip, it’s back to work for Lim who recently made the big career move to Viva Artists Agency after eight years with ABS-CBN talent center Star Magic. He shared the big news on Instagram two days ago, striking a pose with the VIVA poster behind him.

It seems that Lim’s year is off to a great start as he also started shooting for the upcoming movie “Miss Granny.” Last night, he shared a photo of him while on the set, which roused excitement from his loyal fans.

At least with the shooting for “Miss Granny” now underway, fans have something else to be excited about other than Lim’s relationship status with Chiu. It is noted that Lim will be starring with pop princess and actress Sarah Geronimo and James Reid for the project. Cody Cepeda /ra
