Xian parts ways with Star Magic, costars with Sarah

After almost 10 years with ABS-CBN’s talent management arm, Star Magic, Xian Lim has transferred to Viva Entertainment. As part of his five-year management contract with Viva, the 28-year-old actor-singer will do 10 films and record albums.

“We’re excited to work with Xian. He’s a talented actor and singer with so much potential,” Viva’s corporate communications head Baby Gil said in a text message to the Inquirer.

The actor’s first project with Viva is the coming local movie adaptation of the Korean comedy-drama “Miss Granny,” which costars Sarah Geronimo and James Reid, with Joyce Bernal at the helm. “Xian will be Sarah’s love interest in the movie,” Gil disclosed. —ALLAN POLICARPIO
