Angelica Panganiban on dinner with ex Carlo Aquino: ‘Why not?’

Angelica Panganiban said on the talk show “Gandang Gabi Vice” that she wouldn’t get back together with an ex.
Her reason? “Hindi ko nakikita ang sarili ko kasi grabe akong magbigay ng chance eh. Hangga’t kaya ko sige game…pero ‘pag natapos na talaga ako, tapos na (I don’t see myself [getting back with an ex] because I give so many chances. As much as I can handle, I would allow it, but once I’m done, it’s over).”
When Vice mentioned that an ex of Angelica’s was previously on the show, Panganiban appeared nervous. “Ayusin n’yo ha kung sino (Be clear about who he is).”
“Lodi namin ‘to (He’s an idol),” hinted Vice, making a play on words on one of Panganiban’s former flames, John Lloyd Cruz.

An interview from months back showed actor Carlo Aquino sharing that he and Panganiban dated for six years.
“Siguro kung matanda-tanda kami noon, kami talaga nagkatuluyan (Maybe if we were older then, we would still be together).”
Panganiban said there was no bad blood between the two of them and that they remained close.
“Nagsimula kasi siya siguro sa friendship…sabay kami lumaki eh. Ayun kaya siguro kahit naghiwalay kami, walang galit sa amin (We started out as friends since we grew up together. Maybe that’s why when we split up, neither of us were angry).”
When asked if she would be willing to go out to dinner with him, she replied, “Inaaya niya naman ako (He still invites me for dinner).”
She also gave a “Bakit hindi (Why not)?” if it were just the two of them in the dinner.
“Marami kaming mapag-uusapan (We will have a lot to talk about),” she said.
In a Jan. 15 interview with PUSH, Aquino said they still texted and called each other and that he was willing to work with her.
