‘13 Reasons’ star’s reason to celebrate

Australian actress Katherine Langford expressed elation on Instagram over her Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a TV drama series, for her role in “13 Reasons Why.”
“Waking up to this morning’s incredible news after our Season 2 wrap party last night… I’m so honored to be included alongside such an illustrious group of women,” she said in the caption of the cast’s photo collage.
In the hit Netflix series, Langford plays Hannah, an abused high school student who committed suicide. The 21-year-old actress added, “I hope that this recognition can further shine a light on the life issues and struggles that we cover in the show.”—OLIVER PULUMBARIT
