What would you give your loved ones this holiday season? What would you like to receive this year? What’s your most memorable Christmas?

For Raymond Bagatsing, Christmas isn’t about material things. “If I could, I’d like to give a ‘healing kind of love’ to all of mankind,” he told the Inquirer. “This will rid them of their worries, anxieties and fears, and allow them to enjoy the holidays with one another. This will give them contentment and happiness.”

He explained: “I usually give generic Christmas gifts for everyone, including my family (laughs).”

The old adage, that it’s the thought that counts, remains just as valid now, as far as Jeffrey is concerned.

“It’s not about what it is or how much its worth is … it’s more of a token … that represents how much I value them. I guess, the more personalized the gift, the more meaningful it is for me,” he said.

He, however, admitted that he loves receiving surprises during the holidays. He said friends and family could give him “anything!

I not only love giving, but also receiving gifts. I appreciate anything … no matter what it is. So please keep them coming.”

He has more specific wishes for the coming year. On the professional front, “I want to make a mark in this new career I’ve chosen to transition to in the entertainment industry.”

As for his personal dreams, he simply yearns for “good health and safety for my whole family. Thankfully, I’ve always been blessed with both … ”

For Jeffrey, every Yuletide season with the entire clan has been unforgettable so far. “All my Christmases have been special because every year, life just keeps getting better.” —MARINEL R. CRUZ AND BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
