John Mayer recuperating from appendectomy

/ 12:20 AM December 12, 2017

Singer-songwriter John Mayer was recently forced to postpone a concert with the Dead & Company band in New Orleans, after being rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.

After the surgery, John woke up to a slew of heartwarming messages. “Thank you everyone for the well wishes … Saw some amazingly kind and loving tweets,” wrote John, who apologized for holding off the last few dates of the tour. This band and these shows mean the world to me. Love you all dearly.”

The “Gravity” singer is currently recuperating, and apparently, quite buzzed from all the medication he’s under.

“I’m a warm, pilled-out froggy, whizzing my golf cart around the internet, doffing my wool cap to everyone I pass. Beep beep hellllloo electric guitars, let me get a look at you,” he said, much to his followers amusement.—ALLAN POLICARPIO
