Kapamilya comedian Vice Ganda showed yet again what he can do for his friend.

He recently made headlines for not letting a basher go away without a slam for wishing Hashtags member Jon Lucas should have died instead of Franco Hernandez.

For him, he only acted on his feelings and didn’t care how the public accepted it. He was just being a friend to his friend.

“At that moment, I was being myself, I was mourning, I was weeping, I was devastated because of my good friend’s death. That was the exact feeling na naramdaman ko. Feelingko nabastos ‘yung kaibigan ko, feeling ko OA, feeling ko na-violate niya ‘yung kaibigan ko. At right there and then hindi ako nag-isip, I have to be a friend to my friend. Itataas ko ‘tong kaibigan ko, kailangan kong ipagtanggol ‘yung kaibigan ko,” he said.

Vice Ganda said he has nothing against revealing his thoughts and emotions online. However, these posts should be put in the right context and should be sensitive enough to its readers.

I will be responsible,” he added.

He also feels nothing could stop bashers.

A month after Hernandez’ death, his anger towards the basher has subsided. But at the height of everything he and some friends did their investigation. He eventually found out about the girl and to his surprise, even netizens conducted their own research. Many netizens found out about the controversial basher’s full name, address, school where she studied, what she does for a living and even her set of friends.

But he also believes that with everything that’s happened after the incident, she learned her lessons.
