Steven Seagal begins shooting TV series in PH amid Hollywood actresses’ sexual misconduct allegations

Steven Seagal is set to begin shooting a TV series in the Philippines that is co-produced by politician Chavit Singson.
TV Patrol reports that the 12-episode series titled “General Commander” will tackle issues such as drug trafficking and terrorism.
One of the locations is Calle Crisologo in Ilocos Sur, where Singson used to be governor.
In a Philippine Daily Inquirer interview, Seagal said that 90 percent of the production team would be Filipino.

In the TV Patrol feature, director Philippe Martinez praised the crew for getting work done after just one explanation.
The show will air in 30 countries including the Philippines.
Sexual misconduct allegations
Taping of the series comes after women in Hollywood have come forward with sexual misconduct allegations against the actor in early November.
Portia de Rossi claims that he unzipped his pants in front of her during an audition, while other actresses including Julianna Margulies have made similar claims of exploitative behavior.

Jenny McCarthy alleges that in 1995, he forced her to undress for an audition that had no nude scenes and then threatened her if she spoke about it afterward.
