After the online world was set in shock following his reported disappearance, internet sensation and former Hasht5 member Xander Ford came out through a video uploaded via online character Senyora’s Facebook page refuting such rumors. Furthermore, he said he was only taking a break from showbiz.

In a one-minute-15-second long video, the famous surgically-enhanced young star explained that his abrupt hiatus was only because he was tired. What’s more, his family, particularly his siblings, are aware of his whereabouts although he did not mention where he was at the moment as all he wants for now is peace.

“Actually guys nagpapahinga lang ako ngayon. Siguro pagod na pagod po ako. Actually kung makikita niyo po sa itsura ko wala pa po akong kain,” he said.

(Actually guys I am just resting now. Maybe I’m just very tired. Actually if you would see how I look, [I look like] I haven’t eaten)

(I haven’t even taken a shower yet and I feel like I’m sick. But I’m okay, I am not missing. My siblings know my whereabouts. I just didn’t tell them exactly where I am so that no one can go to me, for now I just want some peace and quiet)

Ayan hindi naman daw nawawala si Xander Ford. Showbiz break daw muna

Moreover, he said he wants to take a breather for a few months. Quite odd though, the 20-year-old internet personality chooses to shy away from any social media for the moment, neither does he posses a mobile phone for now just so he would achieve the peace he needs. He however, promised to keep the public updated of his plans.

“And gusto ko po sana ‘wag po munang mag-work kahit ilang buwan lang po. Napapagod po ako. Di po ako robot. Di po ako nakakapagpost po muna sa social media kasi wala po akong account ngayon. Ah Facebook page, Instagram and Twitter. Wala din po akong cellphone kaya tahimik po muna ako. Update ko na lang po kayo. Maraming salamat po. I love you. ‘Di po totoo na nawawala ko,” he said.

(And also I would like to take a break from work for at least a few months. I’m just really tired. I am not a robot. I am not able to post lately because I don’t have any social media account as of the moment [such as] Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I don’t even posses a cellphone that’s why I’m quiet at the moment. I will just update you guys. Thank you very much. I love you. It is not true that I am missing)

Yesterday, his talent agency Star Image Artist Management came out with an alarming announcement informing the public that Ford was missing. It quickly went viral.

Furthermore, his disappearance took a toll on his professional obligations as shows supposedly scheduled on Nov. 23 and 24 were cancelled due to his disappearance.

The controversial internet personality shot to fame after his dramatic transition from Marlou Arizala to Xander Ford after he submitted himself to a series of major surgical procedures. He openly shared to the public his journey and made his big reveal via ABS-CBN’s Sunday magazine show “Rated K.”

Much as he became an overnight sensation, allegations of arrogance plagued the young star. Among his most notable controversies was a video of him supposedly body shaming Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo. /jpv
