Sunshine Dizon hailed ‘Best Actress’ by Gawad Amerika for ‘Ika-6 Na Utos’
Kapuso actress Sunshine Dizon is currently overwhelmed by her newest “Best Actress” award courtesy of the Gawad Amerika for her powerful portrayal in the top-rating afternoon series “Ika-6 Na Utos.”
The actress expressed her heartfelt thanks through a recent lengthy post on Instagram.
Thanking the Filipino community in the United States, Dizon shares the award to the “hardworking cast and crew of #ika6nautos.”
She thanked her series director Laurice Guillen for her guidance as well as her home network GMA for “for giving me the opportunity to be part of memorable shows that honed me through the years.”
She also acknowledged her kids Doreen Isabel and Antonio who have been, and will always be, her inspiration to be a better actress.
“Sa lahat din po na taga supporta ng ‘Ika Anim Na Utos’ maraming salamat sa inyong pag tangkilik at pag subabay sa amin,” she wrote.

The actress was a complete stunner in her black gown as she holds her Best Actress award.

In 2006, Dizon has already been recognized by the same award-giving body for her portrayal as the villain Pirena in the original version of “Encantadia.”
