Pia Wurtzbach to judge at 2017 Miss Universe pageant

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is back on the Miss Universe pageant scene, this time as an official telecast judge at the 66th competition.

The news was announced through an Instagram post by the organizers confirming Wurtzbach as among the judges at this year’s competition.

Also in the panel of judges are Miss Universe 1998 Wendy Fitzwilliam, makeup artist and TV host Jay Manuel, Venezuelan-American YouTube star Lele Pons, TV personality Ross Mathews, and host and presenter Megan Olivi.

Steve Harvey and Ashley Graham will also return as pageant hosts. Singers Fergie and Rachel Platten will be performing at the coronation night.

The pageant will be telecast live on Sunday, Nov. 26, in the US. Rachel Peters is the Philippines’ representative to the pageant.

The country has produced three Miss Universe title holders, namely Gloria Diaz in 1969, Margie Moran in 1973 and Wurtzbach in 2015.
