Among his many awards includes nine Country Music Association Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards, seven CMT Music Awards, eight American Country Awards, three People’s Choice Awards, two American Music Awards, one Billboard Music Award, 23 BMI awards and 22 ASCAP awards. He has been on the judging-coach panel of the show “The Voice” since its first season in 2011.
The 2018 tour, called “Country Music Freaks” (a title prompted by a text conversation with Eldredge, Pearce and Adkins) will start on Feb. 15 in Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma and wind up on March 17 in Philadelphia. In total, Shelton will play 14 dates across the U.S. His newest album, “Texoma Shore”, is set for release on Nov. 3, 2017, the same day that tour tickets go on pre-sale. JB
