WATCH: Nicole Kidman explains why she kissed co-star in front of husband Keith Urban

With an Emmy Award recently added into her long list of acting achievements, “Big Little Lies” star Nicole Kidman finally answered what was on everyone’s mind: why did she kiss her co-star in front of her husband?
In a guesting for BBC One’s “The Graham Norton Show”, the actress teased Norton after he showed a still image of Kidman’s much talked-about kiss with co-star Alexander Skarsgård during the awarding. The actor played Kidman’s abusive husband in the show. Her real life husband, country singer Keith Urban, was with Kidman during the ceremony and witnessed the kiss.
“It’s a loving moment of celebration,” Graham told Kidman.
“I kissed my husband, too,” Kidman jokingly shot back.

“You’ve gotta understand, I did everything with Alex,” she reasoned. “I’ve got an amazing, supportive, gorgeous husband who I love more than anything in the world,” she then said in praise of Urban.
But then she added on Urban watching them: “I gave [Alexander] a congratulatory kiss and he’s like a mannequin,” which sent the other guests Colin Farrell , Bryan Cranston and Matt Lucas laughing.
Kidman won “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or a Movie” for her portrayal of a wealthy, powerful, single mother who gets involved in the death of an abusive husband. Skarsgård also won an Emmy for his said role in the series. JB
