‘No marriage works without affection’: Doug, Chesca Kramer share throwback photos to celebrate anniversary

Doug Kramer and Chesca Garcia-Kramer are celebrating their ninth wedding anniversary by featuring throwback pictures and their fondest memories together.

It’s so nice to have somebody who enjoys loving and pampering his wife… Thanks for telling and affirming me everyday that I am still beautiful and how you love me so much more now. Never ashamed to express it even if there are a lot of people around us. While words are important, your actions speak even louder with your affection. Time with you is never enough, because you’re so much fun to be with. I look forward to our conversations and evenings where it’s just you and me. I am thankful that I don’t have to ask you to do things, because you do everything you think might hassle me. I know you don’t like to see me stressed so you would rather stress yourself out than see me frown…Thanks babe! And just when I think I can’t ask for anything more… You also love showering me with gifts… Mostly stuff that I don’t ask for. You give just because it makes you happy to see me with things you’d like me to wear… Hahahaha! Thank God we mostly agree on them! I hope I show you everyday that I love and appreciate you! I know we also get annoyed with each other… But it is only through God that we learn to appreciate one another, and lower our expectations. I know it’s only through God that we can look pass our differences and choose to love each other everyday. Happy anniversary! I love you so much! ❤️

Sharing one of their pre-nup photos, Chesca wrote about how the two have kept their relationship fresh: “Thanks for telling and affirming me everyday that I am still beautiful and how you love me so much more now. Never ashamed to express it even if there are a lot of people around us.”

“Time with you is never enough, because you’re so much fun to be with. I look forward to our conversations and evenings where it’s just you and me,” she continued.

“I am thankful that I don’t have to ask you to do things, because you do everything you think might hassle me,” the actress and host said.

In a pre-nup picture of the couple sharing a kiss, Doug wrote, “No marriage works without affection.”

The couple have three children, Kendra, 8, Scarlet, 5, and Gavin, 4. Collectively, the family is known as “Team Kramer”:

The cager gifted his wife with a necklace shaped like a “9” and encrusted with crystals. Pink rubies represented their children’s ages:

Last year, I gave Chesca an infinity ring ∞ to symbolize our 8th year anniv. Now, for our 9th year anniversary, I opted to give her this necklace. The pink rubies symbolize the current ages of our kids. 😍😍

“Not the most flattering pic of us but it just shows how young we look,” said Doug.

“Well, me more. Since you age 1 year only every 5 years,” he said of his 37-year-old wife’s ageless beauty.

The sweet couple met in Boracay in 2003, and though they started out as friends, they “admired each other from a distance,” Chesca shared in a 2013 GMA interview.

In the interview, Doug shared, “I’ll never forget na by the time I saw her talagang napamura ako. Sabi ko, ‘ganda naman nun’ (I found her so beautiful that it made me curse).” JB
